If raycasting is run together with higher settings for Number of Influences, the spike in the lips goes away, but worse spikes in the forehead begin to appear.  The area between the eyelid and eyebrow begin to develop more noise, as well.  The bottom of the lower lip is worse, but it's hard to tell from this image.

The current results with the upper eyebrows are difficult to clean up with Restore Detail.  Some areas end up beneath the surface of the underlying skin, unless RD settings are raised high enough to undermine the re-shaping while cleaning up the result.
