1, I personal prefer download. The manual is on download and CD version always a PDF document.2, Maintenance is a contract that includes a number of benefits. You subscribe for a year and get all upgrades during the subscription period, including free upgrades to all *.5 and full versions. Next year you pay only the next subscription and so on.
