Hmmm, Ok.
I was thinking using the matched UV as a bridge between two sets of meshes might help, but in fact it is introducing more problems into the equation owing to the anomalies ( such as edges ) created when mapping a 2D UV onto a three dimensional surface.
If people had flat heads it would make life much simpler lol.
