I spoke to one of the top content vendors in a chat here. I won't say who. She claimed she makes about $50K a year and doesn't do any other work anymore. But she's one who cranks out 3 to 8 new items every week. She can model a hair or pair of boots in minutes, because she is truly expert after having done it for thousands of hours.

All I can say is, if you can write software, then write software instead of making content (for money) because I don't know a single engineer who makes less than $100K a year and they do not work as many hours as this woman does. Of course I'm in New England, where software is king.

Anyway, if you can make software, make content for love, not money.
