Aeilkema, please calm down. You're attempting to contradict me, but you clearly don't know the names and roles of people who have been posting here, at DAZ forums, and at RDNA forums.

I hope being right isn't important to you, because you're not. The easiest way to avoid demonstrating your lack of knowledge is to stay quiet. Just a tip.

Please don't demand that I actually have to count up the postings to prove that there are at least 200. You're simply wrong and almost don't deserve an answer, but I'll give you one. I'm not referring to postings in private developer forums.

Here are a few examples I can think of off the top of my head. This is not a complete list, nor am I going to spend a lot of time assembling one just to defend myself. And I'm certainly not going to assemble a bunch of links to threads. This non-issue doesn't deserve that much of my time.

I am a Poser 8 software developer (library GUI, search, and favorites). (I'm not an employee - I am a consulting engineer and Poser user.) Stewer is a Poser 8 software developer (rendering engine). PhilC is a Poser 8 developer (plugins). Semidieu is a Poser 8 developer (plugins).

DarkEdge is a Poser 8 content developer. Manoloz is a Poser 8 content developer. Dead_Reckoning (aka Mariner) is a tester and maybe he developed some content, I don't know. He's listed as a Poser 8 content developer in the credits. JHoagland is a Poser 8 content developer. Mrsparky is a Poser 8 content developer.

All of these people have been posting facts about Poser 8 since they were released from their NDA. There are a number of other beta testers who have been posting specific answers to questions. I'm not going to hunt them all down and list them.

I alone have posted hundreds of times on the subject of Poser 8, and for a while only I was allowed to give any specifics. I was released from the NDA weeks and weeks ago. This also seemed to be an issue that certain people got very upset about, insisting that I was breaking the law and violating my contract. The accusations were non-productive and based only on speculation, directly in contradiction to stated facts. Just like your post. Someone suggested the possibility that I would be banned over it. What a joke.

Recently, SM allowed others to speak, and there have been many postings of content, screen shots, and direct answers to questions about specific features. Every one of the people I named above have posted multiple times with information about Poser 8, including renders and screen shots.

These postings were not all in this thread, or even all in this forum. There are many at RDNA and DAZ.

I have been posting much less in the past couple weeks because the other guys were picking up, answering questions and showing things.

I cannot understand what it is about this situation that brings out certain behaviors in certain people. But I'm almost certain of this: People wanted information and SM let us give it. But if even a handful of people turn this policy into a stupid, senseless argument, it will not sit well and the information flow will be shut down completely and forever. You will be left with nothing in the future.

If the rest of you don't make these few stop the nonsense, that's what is going to happen. It doesn't matter to me at all if it does. I'm not the one that will be left in the dark.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
