No one knows when it will be released.  The only 'clue' is that SM is showing it at SIGGRAPH, which is next week.  That does not mean it will be released then, though.

As to Poser Pro, it will be Poser Pro 2; as it is a totally separate product line.  Again, there hasn't been any rumors of it yet; so i would guess sometime next year.  On a side note, I wish they would call the new Poser Pro with an 8 so we would know at a glance which Poser version it is most like, so to speak.
