I’m still working on rigging and it looks like this will take a while. I’ve had to go back into my modeler (Modo) to create an extra shoulder part for my figure. (I’d like the arms to be able to reach straight upward without breaking the figure for those rare instances of chin-ups and bank robberies.) The default position of the arms is down and outward which provides a unique challenge for rigging in Poser. Of course, Anton’s Apollo Maxinimus has a similar default pose, but I’m prevented from back-engineering his rigging methods by the product license. My rigging method is to try everything until I find what works best for my figure. Obviously some things fail and some fail *spectacularly*. I’ve included a screenshot of what happened when I changed the joint rotation order for one of the shoulder parts. I made the mistake of creating my uv maps and textures before rigging in Poser. Never again! If I need to rework areas of the mesh to get it to bend more realistically in Poser, this could destroy the uv maps, textures and consequently waste my time.
