*Many of us don't like .exe for installing. I use a dummy file for Daz so I can weed out the extra crap but your screwed if it needs to find a product before opening. Zip files are simple, the easiest to open and place what you want where you want.
Merchants should know what thier doing and these path and folders should be done right. They should also not get past testing if done wrong. But, the store won't do anything about the !!!~~~ problem, I can understand why absolute paths are missed. My guess would be, they, as in the testers, have everything installed on C drive so the file load fine.
A simple solution for the testers, use a different drive for the main runtime and poser will tell them there is a problem.
