Hi ho everybody. I just read all 12 pages of this thread. Sigh.

So here's another datapoint. I've gotten 2 spams so far. Up to last week I:

1. Got forum reply notifications
2. Never subscribed to newsletter
3. Got PM notifications
4. Got Gallery comments
5. Got "You've been favorited" notices
6. Got notices of favorite artists posting to galleries.

In two years I never got a spam on this address.

Then a few days ago, for the first time, **I bought something in the marketplace here.

Now I get spam.

Whatever happened with the fresh box experiments?

I'm about to turn off my current Renderosity-specific address, disable all notifies that I can, and make a new one for Rendo.

If I get spam on the new one, I'm going to cut off Renderosity altogether. I sure hope it doesn't come to that because I do a lot of responding to threads when people need help.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
