Quote - Acadia,
thank you for posting this for us.
Where is your post above does it say this came from us. I see google and gmail but I don't see anywhere in that return that mentions Bondware or Renderosity.
I do know that they are working on this and it takes time so please be patient.
Sandy
I do not want my email address posted on a discussion board so I X'd out my addresses so that I could post the properties here.
Quote - Ok, so a "header" is actuall the email properties. Here they are but I have removed my email addresses from them and substituted them with XXXXX
These emails were sent to my newly created, exclusive renderosity address. I have that gmail box set for POP3 and forward any mail received to my mts.net address for ease of not having to remember to go to gmail to check my mail.
So because they were sent to my exclusive Renderosty gmail address, which was just created on October 9, 2007 for the purposes of a "spam experiment" and never, ever used for anything other than to login to and receive ebots from Renderosity, the problem has to be with a leak with Renderosity where our emails are concerned, because otherwise that newly created email box should be spam free because no one other than Renderosity and myself has that new gmail address, and I sure know that I'm not sending myself spam.
I had my other gmail address for years before I used it here. And in all of those years not a single spam / unsolicited email was sent to it: until I used it here, and then I was getting dozens per day to the point I finally changed it on October 9th, as not only part of an experiment but because I was sick of the spam. But here we are again, another compromised email address.
I will forward these emails to you as attachments so that you can see for yourself that they were sent to my exclusive Renderosity email address and then forwarded to my Outlook Express via POP3. It does look confusing to see "xxxx" or substitute addresses" instead of the real thing.
Without posting my addresses, the top portion of the paths looked like this:
