Hi SN, Under the Interface tab in the scene settings (properties tray) you can change the units to whatever you'd like. You can also adjust how many decimal places are shown to avoid the round-up display issues. Regarding waiting for a figure to load, at least on my system it takes about as long for Carrara to load a figure as it does for Poser. I wish it was faster. However, once in Carrara everything else goes faster or at least more smoothly. Mark
