I agree that would be excellent. It's always a toss-up between "here's how you use the program" and "Here's how you do project X". Since my charge was to explain how to use Carrara, that had to come first. How to effectively work in 3D is a different topic. I tried to do that as much as possible like, for example, during the Shader section on how to build complex shaders. But you're right, there is something to be learned whenever you can watch a person do the whole thing. So, if I do the Painting with Alexander thing, does that entitle me to do cheesy landscapes with snow capped peaks in the background while gushing about the emotive requirements of the work? ;-)
