Hi Mpal, Carrara does not support layered .ai files. What you can do is save the counties as a separatae .ai file and bring that in as a different spline object. For complete control, you could do county by county. What is it that you are trying to do? if you're not changing the shape of objects, you might be able to accomplish your needs with texture maps instead. Mark
