The Carrara5 manual is just about the best manual about. However, you will find it does not include instructional information on some of the great goodies that were in the 5.1 update.
I suggest (regularly) that always, before bringing questions to forums, to do a search of the Help Manual. Even if, rarely, it will not give you a particular answer, it may help in better refining the quality of your questions.
(Bryce and Poser Manuals are great examples of how not do them--should be given as how not to instructions at all educational facilities!)
You talk about bringing Poser stuff into Carrara and THEN taking back to Poser? Most people only use Poser as a resource for Carrara! Why would anyone want to actually do work in Poser when you have Carrara?
