Agree with you Acadia - that episode was so bizzare :D And thanks for the link too, as new P5 user I appreciate any info on Material Room and Cloth Room :-)
For real-looking fur postwork seems to be one of most popular solutions though. Smudging a bit the edges of furry figure adds some nice fluff.
