Excellent - thanks for that!

The next thing is that the rendering doesn't seem to advance the movie in synch with the animation frames. I have a 2 sec 25fps AVI file, and  50 frame animation, but rendering doesn't advance the gel movie with every frame - instead it seems to advance the AVI every 3rd frame or so.

Any thoughts?
