My wishlist for Carrara so far - in general I tend to use simple scenes and models and create the effect with lighting, and this is an area where Carrara is weak IMHO. I'd like to see

• 3D shadows and visiblevolumetric light on bulb and tube lights - there seems to be no way to create e.g. a ball with light streaks coming out of it, without resorting to the glow channel. IF THERE IS A WAY, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
• use shaders as gels (without having to buy a plugin)

Also, would be good to have fluid simulation.
