Well. For me Hexagon is simple with basic and essential tools for modelling necessity. Every tool is for modelling, but you need to switch to a slightly different way of thinking to get a new way of modelling. (look at the video on box modelling the flying car on the site, it shows how easy the 'mirrorred' manipulation works) If you like vertex modelling (I always used spline modelling because I did not grasp it), once you know where the tools are, the Cararra vertex modeller feels very clunky. It is extremely fast in Hexagon once you get your head around it. It's not the tools that are complicated, every tool does simple things. The complicated thing is to find out what tool to use in what situation. I don't think peope find Hexagon powerful of the 'complicated tools' but because of the powerful possiblities it offers. And the time it saves. Take 'loop' 'over n' or 'ring' selection, or extracting lines, or filletting or chamfering. It was never part of the VM in Carrara, so they may look complicated, but used once you can not model without them. But of course there is no reason to use Hexagon if you are happy with the Vertex modeller. I would not be happy with not using my left hand while working in any software, so I guess everybody has his or hers preferences :-)
