I still get the feeling that this is more about bandwidth control than what's appropriate or not on forums I think it's about showing us upstart "community members" that we're not to make ourselves too comfortable here. We're to show up, spend money, answer technical questions, post stuff in the galleries to draw traffic to the site so that more people will show up and spend money, and shut the hell up.
