Ive got a red one... of course the fact that mine's plastic may have something to do with that. (ggg) but it still works - takes pictures too, AND projects images on a wall - okay, so they can be rather fuzzy, but what can you expect from a plastic microscope? It even has a light you can switch on and off by swivelling it around - it sits just under the slide platform. Er... does yours need a light? Or is that internal? Otherwise it looks pretty much how I remember the University ones used to. Good stuff. Fran
