You're right, the easiest solution would be to lower the bump strenght in a paint proggie, but I'm just curious to see if there's a solution right inside Carrara so I don't have to be switching back and forth...And cause I don't want to touch a bump map that looks ok in Poser, it's just CS3 who's got the problem with him.

And secondly no,... the bumps are not too strong in the rest of the face, they look ok in the cheeks, chin, and everywhere.. it's just the nose that looks full of blackheads! Too ugly.... (perhaps for a teenager look would be useful... :D)
