There were a bunch of free plugins. But they have all been intergrated into Carrara. Zekaric, made a free duplicate plugin recently. And Shoestring graphics, and all the other developers, allow unlimited free upgrades so if you buy version one of anything grooves, and he releases 25 versions, you don't have to pay a dime, even if he increases the price.
