I'm a bit confused. If this is NOT an "offical" poser character, such as .lwo/.obj/.lwo then you go to file import & pick the appropiate file extension that matches the format in which you created the character. If this is a "real" poser character as in a CR2 or PP2 then you should find it in your figures folder, just like in P4, provided you've moved it there of course.
