Bryster: I was bored so I made this out of metaballs, a couple of spheres and a terrain for the tongue. If you have Bryce5 and would like it, IM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. It's 403k zipped. To make the second one, I just copied and flipped it on the X. It is posable, but only in the sense that you can move the parts around. :^) I know it's not perfect, but at the size you'll be rendering, the flaws probably will not show that badly, and you can postwork it easily.
