I came here to ask this very same question! Am I understanding that Version 8 CS is the same as 7 only with extras? I am about to purchase this program myself and am totally confused. The online store I was looking at has the Version 8 CS a bit cheaper than the Version 7..which only added to my confusion. Would Version 7 be better for a beginner? Any help would be appreciated.
