First off, we don't even have an academy of arts to set standards in this country. The closest thing is the academy of motion pictures that sets standards for film. For the most part females must cover what a bikini covers or better to be clothed. A significant portion of the breast as well as the nipple should be covered. The pubic area and crack of the buttocks must also be covered. Males must cover only the bottom part although I've seen men with bigger breasts than some girls I dated in High School. There are exceptions to the rule. Florida allows thongs, which leaves the buttocks uncovered. New Orleans allows females to flash breasts for up to 3 seconds during Mardi Gras without being indecent in public. You can also do whatever you want on private property as long as you protect the public from seeing you.
