alkart2003, To get ideas for how to do such things you might have to look at tutorials in other programs if you can't find them in Carrara and try to convert the information. For example EricofSD has or had some tricks that he used in Bryce to simulate lense flares which might convert to Carrara I think he did something with rings there too. If no one here replies you could try the modeling forum and repost your question in a more general way in other likely forums like 3ds and truespace - maybe even poser. Also there are a few "space junkies" (no disrespect meant) hanging around these forums some of them are quite knowledgeable. Try to find out who they are and talk with them that is deveolop a list of contacts that share your interest.
