YOu could say that the artist was trying for the unfinished look or they wanted it to look like an arse. It does look like an arse to me. I tried the bank thing once, I put the stockings over my head but wondered how every one still knew it was me. It wasn't until I got home and looked in the mirror that I noticed they were crotchless.
