Hi MrMongo Thank's for the reply. I'll try what you suggest for the 'failed render ' messages. As for the booleans take a look at the image and see if there's anything wrong if you wouldn't mind,I'd value your comment's. I'm now getting weird hang's in the spline modeler,once again with 3D booleans. I lathe a tube witch I want to have a recessed hole in one side, as soon as I insert and try to resize the sphere strangeness happen's; If I try to manover on the scene with a camere as soon as I unclick the mouse button the scene jump's back to the position it was in before I tried to zoom in (or whatever) If I do this several times Carrara Hang's. I'm very dissapointed with all this, Carrara2 was so well behaved. Thank's for your time Roy UK
