I'm not even sure that Eovia owns any rights to Infini-D. But if they did, reviving I-D would mean spreading limited in-house resources over yet another product- not sure that is a good idea for a small company. It may be a better idea to incorporate some of I-D's modeling features into Carrara as an additional modeling plug-in.
