One other problem with dynamic hair, as far as I'm concerned, is that it slows down rendering. Okay, you all can stop laughing now...but it is possible to make Firefly render even slower than normal and dynamic hair seems to be one of the culprits. I don't know how you speed it up....? Never too much information. I learn a lot from postings like this. And I did finally cave in and buy the spiral curls.
