Subject: Why is VOB 3 times larger than original file?

Exactly, I know it doesn't save the actual image but the texture for that image is saved inside the vob file. Like these files other than size in a way have a advantage in that cause of the way they are stored they can be shared easier and edited easier but you would think there would be a better way. I think there almost like Truespaces file format. Real close to it. I can't understand why they are so big though but it does make sence if you pick apart a obj file and see how that is stored. Vue don't store things like that which is good in a way cause you got way more control editing them and they also load 10 times faster cause there is less math to undecode them. Would be nice if they could cut it down a bit though. I think the slow viewport editing is just from the shear numbers of lines it's drawing and then at that it's drawing it 4 times. If you hide things on layers and max one window and turn down the detail a bit it's way faster.
