Sounds like a lot of fun! Question though :) Should it just be an egg by itself or can it be in a scene? Thanks!

Hi pokeydots, The egg can be in a scene. As long as there's an egg as the focal point it's fine. Thanks, Lillian

Eggsquisite! And prizes for photographers too, that is a nice thing to see. Thanks!

Can we enter once total or once in each category? Thanks very much.

LillianH ( posted at 12:00AM Tue, 20 March 2007

Members may enter once in each category. However, only 1 prize will be awarded per member for the entire contest. In the event a member may score high enough to be eligible for more than one prize, the highest valued prize and category placement will be awarded.

I'm working on something for this! Nice contest and quite appropriate for this time of year.

Is Central Daylight Time the same as Central Standard Time?

LillianH ( posted at 12:00AM Thu, 12 April 2007

Hi DramaKing, It is the same as Central Time, but now that we have set our clocks ahead for Daylight Savings, it is technically referred to as Central Daylight Time. Central Standard Time is when we set the clocks back an hour in the fall until the next spring. Anyway...safest way to gauge the contest closing time is by using the Renderosity Server Time (Posted at the top of the website, under the Renderosity logo). At 12:00 tomorrow, the contest will be closed. Great question!

Nice contest but I'm not bothering with it because all the prizes save 2 are windows only and of the 2 I could only use one since the other is a training aid for something I don't have. So I'm left with one prize that I could even load, let alone make any use of and I already see better work than my offering. Next contest, try to be less Win- centric in the prize list since Mac users look at the prize list and say "Why bother? If I win, the odds are I get a windows only prize useless to Mac users, so it's not worth the effort to even try."

Well for the boxed items, purhaps the folks at renderosity will also provide the reciept, therefor you can exchange it.

LillianH ( posted at 12:00AM Fri, 20 April 2007

Hi jchristenberry, Good idea, except Contest Sponsors are responsible for prize distribution. So, Renderosity would not have a receipt to provide. Sorry we don't have much in the way of Mac prizes this time. I'm sure the $500.00 cash prize being offered in the Graphics Contest opening next week will work equally well for everyone!
