When did you join Renderosity?
I joined Renderosity 2007 and started posting in July of 2008.
What brought you to Renderosity?
A friend showed me some images of Girl 3 and showed me where to find her.
How long have you been creating art?
I've been artist all my life but started getting serious around 2008, when I borrowed my Step-mom's camera and started taking pictures of the Lacamas Creek Trail as well as photos of the deer that would nibble on her roses. Several months later I got caught up in the art wars with Mike Errickson and so I downloaded Daz Studio 2. something and taught myself how to render images and use my photos as backgrounds.
What software(s) do you use the most?
The software I use the most is Daz studio 2.something and Daz 3.1 for renders and I use Corel's Paintshop Pro x8 for photo editing and manipulation.
How do you feel your art defines you?
My art allows me to express myself in a way that is fun and allows my creativity to go in directions that I never thought possible. It allows my wilder side to come out as well as my love for the Faeries and their lives.
How did you come up with your Username?
The reason my site name is faemike55 is that for 3 days running (nights actually) I had what is called vivid dreams where I was in the realm of the fae. I could smell the flowers, feel the dew and see the fae, not with normal human faces that you'd see in television or in magazines, but completely different from anyone I knew. It was then that I realized that I had a vision quest.
