The Renderosity Gallery of the Week for April 4, 2016, is the
Carrara Gallery
Carrara is a 3D application current being developed by Daz3D. It's been a very popular application because it's so easy to use and has similar functionality to Poser. Although there is vigorous debate in the Renderosity Carrara forum about Carrara's future, there is no doubt that it's a favorite among Renderosity artists. One glance at the Carrara Gallery will convince you, I'm sure.
I really like the wide variety of render styles that Carrara gives you. You can see that several artist in the Carrara gallery have chosen non-realistic rendering that looks great. But if you want to render realistically, Carrara does it extremely well.
Check out the Renderosity Carrara Gallery here and the Carrara forum. Also, if you want to get more info about Carrara or perhaps give their demo a try, go to the Carrara Page at Daz3D.
The 14 artists I've chosen below represent a wide swath of work done using Carrara. I could have easily chosen dozens more; all of equal quality and inventiveness.
I urge you to visit the Renderosity Carrara gallery. And thanks to Mark Bremmer for moderating the Carrara forum as well.
