Check Out The Latest Changes To Our Art Gallery Area!

Whether you're uploading an image to the Art Gallery section or simply browsing to find that inspiration for your next project, we think that you'll find navigating through this area much easier to do! There were a few main pieces of functionality that we have addressed - they include; vendor and product linking from image credits area, managing credit priority within list, applying multiple credits to single vendor and also adding an auto populating list to minimize user input errors. We'll look at these improvements with the help of some screenshots below.

You'll notice that once you've selected a vendor to give credit to, a list containing every active product within that vendors store will be automatically populated for you to select from. This will help eliminate any errors that might go on by relying on that user to manually input data into that field.

There are a few changes that are worth noting in the image below. The first thing you may notice is that not only is our sample vendor, BlakeM, listed twice with two unique 'products' but the user is currently dragging and arranging one of his credits to be listed in a different priority from which it was entered. You'll also find that there is a 'Help' window to help give you further guidance as to how to use some of these new features.

It is our hope that you find the few user-friendly changes we mentioned above useful as you submit and upload your next gallery image. Now let's take a look at some subtle changes that have taken place from the standpoint of someone browsing the gallery.

When a user clicks on a gallery thumb to learn more about that image they will be taken to a page that looks similar but has some increased functionality. In the past, the user had the option of clicking on a gallery credit only to be taken to that vendor's homepage. If they wanted to be taken to the contributed product page they would then have to do a seperate MarketPlace search and that's providing the artist submitted the proper product name! They now have a couple of options. If they click on the vendor name they will see a screen (like below) that will bring up a box that will provide options to the user regarding that vendor. If they choose to click on the product name, it will direct them to that specific product page.

We’re confident that these changes will help you to be more efficient when using our site while, at the same time, providing a more consistent look and feel whether you’re using the Marketplace or Art Gallery sections

We look forward to hearing your feedback!
