This review is based on the Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 & Adobe Premiere Elements 4 Bundle, and I have to say this software package offers a one-two punch of functionality and versatility. Forget complicated instruction books, both of these programs offer in-program step-by-step help that is just that - help.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6

With a user-friendly interface, you will be creating custom galleries and uploading them to websites in a matter of minutes ... not hours. The photo-editing capabilities rank close to that of a full blown copy of the Photoshop we've all come to know and love, however, more simplified, or unique to amateur photographers and hobbyists.

This is a great software package for even those who don't edit photos, such as someone who wants to create a gallery specifically for the purpose of a portfolio. It makes it a breeze to gather and organize all the photos that have been collecting dust in the dark recesses of your hard drive for years!

One of the best features is Photomerge, where you can take the best elements from several shots and create the perfect picture!

If you simply don't use or don't have the need for all the extra functionality of Photoshop, then this is the program you should definitely check out.

Adobe Premiere Elements 4

With this software, you could be making your own movies in mere minutes! In Sceneline mode, you can work with and organize video visually by thumbnails. Just drag and drop, both video and effects. Of course, you can also work in Timeline mode for more precise control.

If you want to take the quickest route, you can choose from a variety of movie templates. Choose a theme and you are off and running. After applying, you can further adjust your movie as you wish.

There is also an abundance of effects you can choose from, including plenty of transition effects, and even changing the look of your movie as a whole.

With the new Audio Mixer, you have plenty of options to add background music and even sound effects. You can then either burn your creation to DVD, or Blu-ray Disc (with complete control of menu features), or even upload directly to the web.

It just doesn't get any easier than this. All in all, I found this a great bundle, with all that's included, and at a great price of $149.99 (USD).
