Each month the Renderosity community votes on The Renderosity Artist Of The Month [AOM] ... October's AOM is mamabobbijo from the Writers Gallery. We congratulate mamabobbijo for an outstanding collection of written works! Who is "mamabobbijo"? BobbiJo McBroom. I'm in my fifties. I work at a school for boys with behavioral problems. I live in Massachusetts. I have four kids, grown. I have one grand child, Mullaney Rose. How long have you been writing? I've written most of my life. My mother was blind and I began describing everything to her at an early age. My Dad encouraged me to write things down, because he said my way of describing things was lyrical. What are you currently working on? A piece about a Moonbow, it has me scratching my head for now but I hope to finish it soon. What do you think your best piece of work is and why? I love Front Row Seats, it is the first piece I wrote for my grand daughter. I think the love really comes through.  Back porch, rockin' chair just before sundown Nana rockin' Baby, they're listenin' to the nightsounds. Sun paints the twilight purples and blues Breeze pulls the cloud quilt off the face of the moon Chair creaks, Baby sighs and snuggles deeper down Ah, to spend forever here wrapped together in the nightsounds The leaves are rustling gently as the nightsounds all begin That warming up of instruments as they one by one join in Nana rockin' Baby as the moonlight streaming down Paints magic in the backyard to the concert of the nightsounds The tree frogs are chirping and an owl gently calls A bullfrog adds a bass beat from a pad down by the falls The waves are keeping time as they lap upon the shore The whirring of cicadas cycle up from whisper to roar Baby's gettin' heavy as she drifts gently into sleep To the softly lilting lullaby of chirp and hoot and peep On moonbeams comes a Dreamship,I don't know where we're bound But we'll journey into Everland surrounded by the concert of the nightsounds  Who/what inspires you? My kids and grnd daughter. My parenets also have a great influence although both have been gone a long time. How has this online community (Renderosity) enhanced your work, relationships, and learning? From my first visit I was struck by the amount of positive feedback the artists gave each other. It encouraged me to begin posting my own work. I have made many friends here, and am always encouraged by the amazing sense of community. Do you have any comments or advice for other writers/artists? Dare to! The people here will help keep your courage up, offer kind critisism, and soundly trounce anyone who makes vitriolic comments.  We invite you to have a look
