Siggraph 2005 - Thursday (The final chapter in this year's
adventure)
Eric Post discovered the Post Magazine booth. The Post
people were super cool and loaded Eric Post up with all kinds of
"Post Paraphernalia"!
We popped by and saw the team from Eovia.
The Softimage demo was delightful!
The Alias booth was once again impressive. Although my pictures
don't really do it justice. Check out the
Community
Center forum for pictures from agiel and AgentSmith, those are
awesome:
The Gnomon Workshop Booth
The following was filmed with permission from inside... The
NVIDIA Immersive Visualization Dome!
A visualization theater demonstrating interactive, immersive,
real-time content that can be found in many of the worlds leading
planetariums, including the Hayden Planetarium at the American
Museum of Natural History in New York City all generated on a
single AMD Opteron-based HP xw9300 workstation featuring NVIDIA
nForce Professional with the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 SLI graphics
cards. Designed and engineered by Elumens and Elumenati, the dome
offers SIGGRAPH attendees an array of high-definition visual
experiences, ranging from the smallest molecules to the largest
galaxies in the universe.
