A Sad Goodbye to L.J. Heart [romanceworks]

Jun 21, 2006 at 12:00 am by Store Staff

It is with a broken heart that I bring you the saddest news of my life. My beloved husband, creative partner, and soul mate, L.J. Heart, died very suddenly of heart failure on Saturday morning, June 17th. He was only 59, and had been healthy, active, and vibrant until his last moment. He passed away in bed beside me, the same bed that we married on almost thirty years ago.

LJ was the love of my life and we shared an amazing relationship on every level. I'm grateful for the passionate and special life I had with him, and so saddened that some of our dreams didn't come true. We were getting close to realizing our lifelong dream of finishing our Cavalaris & HEART Love & Music project, and were only two weeks away from completing our Worlds OnLine project that we had been developing for years. At least we were able to share this last year and a half in our dream home in the mountains. How we enjoyed that.

Our time together of creating art and products as romanceworks on Renderosity these past few years has been very special. We have met so many amazing artists and made so many friends. It has been a rare and extraordinary experience that I will cherish forever. LJ truly enjoyed viewing your work and reading your comments. I sincerely thank you all for sharing your art and your hearts with us.

-Carol Cavalaris.
