There will be an invasion in the Renderosity MarketPlace...a Hairvasion, to be more specific, as two of Renderosity's Vendors team up for a big sale on...you guessed it...hair! Â  Â Meet Renderosity Vendors, outoftouch and Bice! Neither one of them a stranger to the Renderosity MarketPlace. Bice received the Vendor of the Month award in August 2008, and outoftouch received the same in both August of 2007 and September of 2008, as well as receiving the honor of All Star Vendor in March of 2007 and February 2008. Hairvasion Sale Details: Sale runs from February 14 to February 28 (two weeks!) The following is included in the sale:
  Super Bob Hair By outoftouch, Bice  How long have you both been members here at Renderosity, and when did you become Vendors? Bice: I've been a member at Renderosity since 2003, and since around that time also a vendor. Outoftouch: I've been a member here at Renderosity since 2004 and exactly a vendor since March 2004.   IsaBelle Hair By outoftouch, Bice  How has your experience been selling at Renderosity? Bice: Selling at Renderosity has always been a pleasure for me. You have everything in one place that works together amazingly. The thing that makes Renderosity very special is the combination of community and marketplace. A big community with thousands of different people that unites for one single thing: digital art. The whole community interface is very easy to use, for both vendors and customers. Through the Site Mail function you can stay in direct contact with your customers, which makes things very easy! Communication with admins and store staff is amazing! If you have problems you can write a short mail and get help very soon. This is quite unique! Outoftouch: I can actually just echo that what Bice already said :-) Selling here is amazing, you have everything in one place. Easy to control, direct contact to the customers, immediate help by the admins, a big range of ways for advertising and of course a huge community with many many great people!   Aundrea Hair By outoftouch, Bice  What do you feel is the strongest aspect of your work? The strongest aspect of our work actually is to become better with every product and of course to get some kind of recognition when we see people like the stuff we are creating. We're always very grateful and happy seeing people use products we do in gallery images. We also aim at extending the overal product palette and creating something unique and fresh with each product.   Cecile Hair 2 By outoftouch, Bice  What advice or tips would you offer to others that may be interested in becoming a Vendor here at Renderosity? Bice: Be yourself, be unique. Try to get your own style, and of course do not stop learning. It might not be that easy in the beginning, but hard work gets rewarded ;-) With each product, try getting better and meet your own requirements you set yourself before. Put quality before quantity and take some more time if you should not be fully satisfied. Outoftouch: Don't forget your passion and don't forget to be yourself! Have fun at what you are doing, this is the most important thing! If you do not like the stuff you are doing then it serves no purpose. Be creative, try something new.   Kimberley Hair By outoftouch, Bice  How do you come up with your hair styles? Is it based on your own research/likes, or does it partly come from customer requests? Both! We do get requests by our customers and we are very grateful for that! It is always good to know what people would like to have. Unfortunately, we cannot fulfill all wishes as time does not allow it. But, we try the best we can. :-) We are also searching and finding inspiration in television, movies, fashion or hair magazines, or just from people passing by in the streets.   Lola Lemora Hair By outoftouch, Bice  How did the idea for this sale come about, and what products are you most excited about featuring? The idea for this sale actually, was to do something crazy and something we have never done before. Because we were working on some different meshes from customer requests in the last weeks, we thought to give something back as a 'thank you' for all the support by customers. Bringing out something new that was wished for by several people for some time, and combining it with giving out "older" stuff for crazy prices. Such a kind of sale madness that has never been there before, and could not find a better start than Valentine's Day...the day for giving something back! :-) Actually, we are most excited about the new hairs that will be released throughout the sale period, starting with "Ashley Hair" (pictured below) . Some kinda hair that could be categorized into the quite crazy hairstyles. We got some requests lately for doing something emo-like, lolita style. "Ashley Hair" gives you two possibilities: Be the ultimate fashionista, or be Emo-Style! Also, we are excited about our "Miami Hair Pack" that is some kind of "hair construction set". Different parts that can be built up to create different styles. Another great thing is to finally give out two hairs that have been requested extensively for some time now. "Jingle Bells Hair", a hair package that has been formerly available in the Bice/Outoftouch Advent Calender 2007. As well as "Wasg Hair", a hair that has been created exclusively for the Renderosity Survey 2008. Both hairs will come back for free throughout the HAIRVASION for a limited time :-)   WASG Hair By outoftouch, Bice  Â
