My formal training is in Photography. I began taking photographs at about the age of 15 or 16 when I purchased my first 35MM Minolta SLR (SRT201). I was hooked. Today I am doing professional work in my spare time and I shoot mostly digital with some Medium format film work. My love for photography evolved into a passion for creating 2D & 3D digital art. My introduction into 2D and 3D computer software began in 1990 when I realized the computer could help me achieve some of the digital effects that were difficult to achieve on Film.
Then there were the many endless nights with coffee in one hand and the mouse in the other while I read software manuals and plugged away at the tutorials until I got something right. I currently use Poser, Carrara (RDS) Vue and Bryce 6 to create all of the images seen in my gallery. As far as 2D programs go, I use Photoshop and Corel PSP for touching up my in camera and 3D renders. The learning process never stops, I guess that is what makes this so much fun.
So enough of the boring stuff about me. I hope you enjoy some of the artwork I have posted here.
