I've always had a love for art. When I was a little girl, I imagined great big worlds full of dragons, princesses, and princes that had a knack for getting themselves into trouble. I would express myself by telling stories, drawing pictures, and acting out my stories with my dolls. My love of art lasted until college, where I majored in Web Design and Animation, but due to my mother's deteriorating health, I had to postpone my education. Over the next few years, I experienced a lot of destructive criticism that led me to stop drawing. Eventually, I found my way back to the 3-D art world (having previously been introduced to it through a college course). But just as drawing, 3-D modeling lost its magic. The hobby I once loved was no longer enjoyable. I filled myself with games and books, as I continued to care for my mother.
I went back to school in the fall of 2016, a few months after my mother passed away. I had discussed going back to school with my mom, only a few days before she passed. I love telling stories. And it only made sense that I get a degree in writing. Rather than continue my web design degree which, as it turned out, was no longer the same program I had taken eleven years ago, I decided to obtain a Liberal Arts degree with a focus in writing. It wasn't until last year that I tried making any sort of artwork. I was reintroduced to Daz (I was unsuccessful in my attempt to learn it a handful of years ago) after trying to find some 3-D programs one afternoon. After a few weeks of playing, I began to realize how much fun I was having, coming up with different renders. My most recent work is all Daz/Blender/Photoshop related. I do this as a hobby, something to make myself happy, and I hope by exploring my gallery, you might feel happy too!
