One of the first photo editing software I used was Photoshop 6 (the original version prior to Creative Suite). I enjoyed applying the filters and 3rd party plugins to my photos and Poser images (I began with Poser 4). For me a straight render wasn't enough. I wanted to put by own brand on the image and thus, began experimenting with filters, layers, colours and/or whatever captured my fancy at the time. From there, I began using Bryce, Vue, Poser, DazStudio and other 3D type software applications and combined them with photo editing software to achieve some very nice images. I love being able to take a special image down to the local print shop to see my art produced in canvas or poster. Several of them hang in my home and I've given them as gifts.
I don't have a particular style and I'm all over the place with subjects or themes. I kind of like the randomness as these images echo they way my imagination works.
For those without natural artistic skills with pencil, pen or paint, the introduction of 3D programs has brought about an amazing array of pictures based on what someone has imagined because each picture is totally unique. Viewing 3D art is exhilarating in my book and I appreciate the work of everyone from amateur to professional. I provide comments to reflect my thinking when viewing artists images and their galleries.
