I am fairly new to the rendering business, having begun to taught myself the art close to a year ago or so. I mainly use poser with a tiny bit of photshop to sometimes help brighten images or sharpen them. I try to keep as close to the actual render though as possible, to try and achieve a "what you see is what you got" look. I am quite inexperienced at what I am doing, discovering new secrets on how to do things each and every day, which is part of the fun and the learning process.
I began rendering as a way to bring stories I write to life. I've been part of a Warhammer fantasy writing group for some time, and many of the characters I create were developed when the group was most active. I now am mostly focused on a new project I am working on loosely entitled "Metahumans". Many of the characters are somewhat similar to my Warhammer ones, but in a more modern world turned medieval than a fantasy setting. I've been truly blessed by good friends who have developed some really fascinating characters over the years, and it has been my pleasure to bring them to life for them.
I appreciate comments, both the good and bad, so please don't hold back if something is on your mind. You never learn what you are doing wrong if nobody tells you! I also am more than willing to talk about any questions a person might have about the stories I am depicting.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your community, and I wish you all the best of luck.
