BIORobbie Robfogel - Executive Producer
Robbie Robfogel made the switch to the visual medium of the entertainment industry in 1994. Prior to that he was an on-air personality in rock radio. Starting his radio career working for a CBS News affiliate, Robbie found his way to his passion in rock radio, holding down, among other time slots, a morning show at Palm Springs rocker KCLB 93.7fm. While there he produced and hosted the heavy metal show The Hardline on Sunday nights, interviewing some of rocks biggest names, including members of KISS, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
Since shifting over to television and film production, Robbie has amassed a credit list in both fields including editing the ground breaking cinema videogame Voyeur II starring Dennis Weaver and Jennifer ONeil, pre-vis compositing duties on Batman & Robin starring George Clooney and Arnold Schwarzenegger, visual effects lead duties on the Steve Oedekerk classic Thumb Wars and Technical directorial duties on the hit 3D animated series Roughnecks-Starship Troopers Chronicles. A self admitted Rock and Roll Junkie Robfogel brings with him the knowledge of a music director from radio over to television and film production. Robfogel has also been a professor of 3D animation and Visual effects teaching at Chapman Universities School of Film and Television and the American Film Institute. (AFI) He currently provides critiques of student thesis in 3D animation and visual effects and is a mentor to students at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
