Tweak Software Showcases New Version of High-End Playback Software at SIGGRAPH 2010

Tweak unveils a new intuitive interface in RV for playback, editing and side-by-side and A/B comparisons of digital media; company highlights integration partners

Tweak Software, makers of RV, the next generation image and sequence viewer for VFX and animation artists, announced today that they will unveil a new beta version of their popular playback tool at SIGGRAPH 2010. Tweak will be exhibiting at booth #1220 during the SIGGRAPH Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center, July 27-29th alongside integration partners Shotgun Software and PipelineFX.

Leading VFX and CG animation studios around the world use RV to playback and review digital media. RV's professional, high-performance toolset is built on an open, extensible architecture allowing users to adapt the software to their own pipelines and styles of working.

"RV has two core facets. First it's a tool for artists that helps get work done without getting in the way. Second, it's a part of studio infrastructure that shops of all sizes can customize to fit into their pipeline," explains Seth Rosenthal, President and Co-Founder of Tweak. "At SIGGRAPH we'll be showing big new additions for both sides of RV. We will also be showing off our integration with industry leading products, Qube! and Shotgun."

RV's new features include an intuitive drag and drop interface for mixing, matching, comparing, and laying out media for review and playback, expanded remote synchronization features for remote review and more.

A few highlights from the RV 3.10 beta include:

· Create new Layouts, Stacks, and Sequences in the same RV session
· Stack or layout sequences for comparison or slap comps
· Add/Delete sources
· Re-order timeline, stacks, and layouts with drag/drop
· Mix sources with different frame rates (real-time pull-up/down)
· Re-time sources individually (stretch, squeeze, resample, offset)
· Create custom layouts
