St. George, Utah, October 28, 2010 — Strata, the developers of the popular Strata 3D CX Suite™ of design tools, is revolutionizing 3D on the web with today’s release of Strata Live 3D CX 2™. By introducing one-click publishing to the cloud and the ability to easily distribute, share and embed interactive 3D content anywhere on the web, Live 3D Version 2 becomes the first solution to make high-quality interactive 3D content as easy to publish and share as a YouTube* video.

Cross Platform and No Browser Plug-Ins Required
Live 3D is a cross platform Java based application for publishing interactive 3D content to the web and Adobe PDF, allowing viewers to experience products in a virtual 3D environment with the ability to rotate, zoom, measure, and interact with a model’s features and options. Unlike most other online 3D solutions, Live 3D content requires no special plug-ins and is already viewable by the majority of people accessing the internet.

Cloud Publishing and Interactive 3D Project Sharing
Each license of Live 3D comes with a free subscription to StrataLive3D.com, a solution that allows rapid publishing and free hosting of interactive 3D content. Once published, the interactive 3D content can be shared on popular social networking sites or embedded anywhere on the web using a snippet of code, much like a YouTube video.

“Live 3D is truly a breakthrough in 3D web publishing.” said Ken Bringhurst, Strata President. “Not only does it introduce a new level of power and ease, but for the first time ever there’s a way for companies to easily distribute embeddable 3D content as part of their online marketing mix or interactive press packages and to encourage the sharing and viral spread of 3D product demos and sales presentations.”

Versatile and Powerful Content Creation
Models can be imported from a broad range of 3D applications and can include basic animation to produce interactive sequences. These sequences can then be built into scripts using Live 3D's menu driven interface with no code writing necessary, allowing designers to publish anything from simple rotations to complex 3D simulations and assembly visualizations. Live 3D even includes plug-ins for Adobe® Photoshop® that export artwork and 3D layers to the web and PDF format. Additional high-end features like polygon reduction help produce efficient streaming projects.

Capture, Create, Design and Deliver with the Strata 3D CX Suite
Strata Live 3D CX is available as a standalone application, or as part of the Strata 3D CX Suite for Mac and PC. The entire Strata 3D CX Suite is offered at a substantial 50% discount to the MSRP of the four individually priced applications.
