Renderosity 3D Artist, Rhiannon, Creating Content for RPublishing
Folks here in the Renderosity Community immediately recognize Rhiannon as a top 3D artist, who has been creating fantastic content for the Renderosity MarketPlace since 2003. Her skills in evidence of her diverse product line and good marketing sense have even led her to several Vendor of the Month awards over the years since. Naturally, the recent news that Rhiannon is now creating content for RPublishing is a good deal for her, and a better deal for consumers.
RPublishing, a subsidiary of Renderosity, was originally formed two years ago, with the idea of working with independent artists to bring innovative products to the digital market. Better stated, RPublishing offers 3D artists a very unique opportunity with all the resources they need to focus on creating the best possible 3D content. According to Rhiannon, “This deal with RPublishing allows me to focus more on the creative process which I love, and I really look forward to continuing this relationship for years to come.â€
Rhiannon's early work in design, which demanded knowledge of several tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator, propelled her into further explorations in 3D, beginning with her most beloved Bryce, and finally led her to working with Poser and modeling in CINEMA 4D. But, Rhiannon would be the first to tell you her need to create started early: "I'm just a southern girl who has always loved to create all kinds of things. My mother was a seamstress, and one of my earliest memories was of sketching the ladies on her clothing patterns and then designing clothes for them. My father had a green thumb, so he taught me how to plant things, take care of them and watch them grow. So, creating, for me, just comes naturally."
Rhiannon originally joined Renderosity in 2000, as an admitted "Brycer." Since then, she has kept creating, learning all the while. Her modeling work initially began with jewelry she would create for her character packs, but soon got more adventurous when she started into modeling clothing and other content. With what began as mere accent modeling, is now a true passion for her: "I really enjoy modeling, it has helped me to add more dimension to my work. When I create a skin texture and a morph for a figure, and then I'm able to follow through with my vision for that character with clothing and accessories, I have a more complete and versatile package to offer. That is very satisfying for me and, hopefully, for my customers as well."
Rhiannon, who currently works from her home office in Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, has kept herself very busy over the past several years, since becoming a full-time 3D modeler and artist. This certainly shows through in the products she creates. With her knowledge, experience, and creativity using a variety of digital tools, she is now one of the most accomplished and successful 3D content developers in the 3D character community. "We were thrilled to find one of the world's top 3D modelers here in our own backyard," says Jenifer Carey, manager of the RPublishing business.
