Bruce's art will be lovely memorial to all those who knew him and too many who didn't for generations to come. My prayers go out to his family and a great deal of love for them during this time of grief. Some one dear to me passed just before Christmas and she always used to say " The only mistake in love is not to share it " . So know your loved and prayed for !

i didnt know him, but always is pretty sad to lose an artist...there are many people who deserve such destiny but not artists,, we are creatures of God,, but well,, now he's beside HIM. im pretty sure about it.

Losing a loved one, especially on or near Christmas day is very sad indeed. I lost my father one Christmas Eve and an uncle one Christmas day.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to Rick's family and friends. While I've never had the honor of knowing him or his work our loss is deeply felt. The poem written by Ms.Harper is a beautiful testimont to the person that Rick was, and leaving us with warm and comforting thoughts. The advantage of being in a community such as this is the knowledge that Rick touched the hearts and imaginations of people around the world. I was taught to either leave this world the same, or make it a better place than when I came into it. Rick has surpassed that. Just from the few artworks on this page I can tell before I even glance at his gallery he has left us the most inspriring and profound beauty. I am so happy to know that his gallery will remain here. As it is a place for those that knew him to visit, but also for those of us yet to know him to be inspired and touched by his work. What a wonderful thought that is, Ricks legacy will continue to nurture and inspire!
